Everyday Explorers Co.

Everyday Explorers Co. is a Berkeley-based brand by Christine Herrin, with a product line spanning clear stamps, journals, stickers, and scrapbooking kits, all designed to help you notice and document the meaningful moments in everyday life.

Over the years, I've worked closely with my biz bestie Christine on designing kits for the Everyday Explorers Journaling Club (previously Mini Book Makers Club).

Each kit is thoughtfully curated around a theme and color scheme, giving you just enough materials to get creative without the overwhelm. Working across different product formats like stamps, papers, and embellishments made every project a fun new challenge.

Mini Book Makers Club: World Traveler

In 2022, around the same time my travel journal book was published, I designed around the theme of World Traveler, incorporating travel journaling elements for documenting trips and adventures.

Mini Book Makers Club: Everyday Journaling

In 2023, I experimented on a bolder color palette and centered my designs and illustrations around Everyday Journaling. It was such a pleasure to be able to pack these kits in person during my visit to Berkeley that summer!

Mini Book Makers Club: Take a Walk

I pitched the idea of nature and taking walks, as I’ve been drawn to visiting parks and exploring the outdoors at this time. We settled on a fun mix of nature, hiking, and simply touching grass as part of the creative vision for the kit.

Everyday Explorers Journaling Club: Chill

Designing for the Everyday Explorers Journaling Club kit was no different, albeit with fewer elements. Since it would be released in autumn, Christine wanted something autumnal without the typical warm colors. Inspired by Marimekko and mid-century patterns, I set out to capture the idea of a cool, quiet autumn.
